Services Agreement

By signing, clicking “I have read the Service Agreement, and I agree to its terms.” and submitting an order form with payment, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms with services by Cristi Elliott (“the Company,” “we,” or “us”).

1. Services & Scope

The Company provides copywriting, copyediting, and related marketing services.

The scope of work is based on the package selected and submitted through the order form, including the package name, pricing, and included services.

Any requests outside of the selected package scope may require a separate quote or additional fee.

2. Monthly Billing & Payments

All packages are billed on a month-to-month basis.

By submitting payment, the Client agrees to:

  • Automatic recurring billing using the selected payment method

  • Charges based on the package selected on the order form

Payment is charged in advance of each billing cycle.

Failure to complete payment may result in paused or terminated services.

3. Cancellation

Services may be canceled at any time.

To avoid the next billing cycle, cancellation must be requested before the next scheduled payment date.

No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.

4. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We want you to feel confident getting started.

If for any reason the Client is not satisfied, a full refund may be requested within 14 days of the initial purchase or first billing date.

To request a refund, the Client must contact the Company in writing within the 14-day period.

Refunds apply only to the initial payment and do not apply to subsequent billing cycles.

After the initial 14-day period has passed, all payments are non-refundable.

5. Task Submission & Workflow

All project requests are submitted and managed through Asana, with completed copy delivered via a shared Google Drive folder for review, comments, and edits. If a different workflow is preferred, it can be arranged upon mutual agreement.

Clients may have up to three (3) active requests at a time unless otherwise discussed. Alternative arrangements—such as submitting a full project list at the start of each month—can be accommodated if agreed upon in advance.

All requests are completed on a rolling basis with a guaranteed turnaround time of 1–3 business days per request, depending on scope. Larger or more complex projects may require additional time, which will be communicated in advance.

6. Turnaround Times

The Company guarantees a 1–3 business day turnaround on all packages. Turnaround times for other requests will depend on the scope and complexity of the task.

Turnaround time begins once all necessary details, assets, and instructions have been received.

In the event the Company is unable to meet the guaranteed turnaround time due to unforeseen circumstances (including illness, emergencies, or technical issues), the Client will be notified as soon as possible and provided with an updated delivery timeline.

If the guaranteed turnaround time is not met, the Company will offer an additional task or project at no extra cost

7. Revisions

Revisions are included based on the limits outlined in the selected package, as specified on the order form.

Revision requests must:

  • Be submitted within a reasonable timeframe

  • Remain within the original scope of the request

Any revisions beyond the amount included in the selected package, or requests that fall outside the original scope, may require an additional fee.

8. Unused Requests & Substitutions

For packages that include a set number of monthly project requests, any unused requests within a given billing cycle may be exchanged for comparable copywriting projects.

“Comparable” refers to projects of similar scope, complexity, and time investment. All substitution requests must be submitted within the same billing cycle and are subject to approval to ensure fair and reasonable workload allocation.

Unused requests do not roll over to future billing cycles. However, clients may use any remaining requests before the end of the billing period for alternative copy needs of equal value.

9. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide clear instructions and necessary materials

  • Respond to questions or feedback requests in a timely manner

  • Ensure all provided materials are accurate and properly owned or licensed

Delays in communication may affect timelines.

The Company is not responsible for errors after final approval.

10. Results Disclaimer

The Company provides copywriting services designed to improve messaging and performance.

However, specific results (including sales, conversions, or engagement) are not guaranteed.

Results depend on factors outside the Company’s control, including offer quality, audience, and marketing strategy.

11. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the Client owns the final approved deliverables.

12. Confidentiality

All client information and materials will be kept confidential and not shared with third parties.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Company is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Losses related to the use of delivered content

Total liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

14. Agreement

By signing, clicking “I have read the Service Agreement, and I agree to its terms.” and submitting an order form with payment, the Client confirms that they:

  • Have read and understood this agreement

  • Agree to the terms outlined above

  • Authorize recurring billing based on the selected package
